Good morning everyone. It is the first day of restaurant week here on Amelia Island so we hope everyone is making plans to try out some new and some old favorites. Here at the Salty Pelican we are trying out ideas for the Spring menu; seared diver scallops, fried super surfer clams, low country boil with crab legs and the Pelican Platter just to name a few. The beer specials today are Goose Island’s IPA and Jacksonville’s own Zeta American Garage IPA. Right now Chef Mike is breaking down some beautiful sheepshead for our fresh catch of the day. It’s going to be another beautiful weekend on our little island so get out and celebrate the little things in life, cheers!
